Responsible gambling at Fruitychance
Start playingYou've probably opened this page because something about your own play, or someone else's, is nagging at you. That's worth acting on. Fruitychance is built for entertainment, and this page sets out what that means in practice, what tools exist, and where to go if things tip the wrong way.
Gambling as entertainment, not income
Stakes placed on a game or bet are non-refundable – the product is consumed the moment you play it, win or lose. Treating a session as a way to cover a bill, a debt, or a shortfall is the fastest route to a bad outcome, because the maths of any casino game is built against exactly that plan.
When it stops being fun
The shift is rarely dramatic. It shows up as chasing a loss with a bigger stake, playing past the point you meant to stop, or feeling relief rather than enjoyment when a session ends.
- Borrowing, or using money set aside for bills, to keep playing
- Hiding the amount of time or money spent from people close to you
- Feeling irritable or anxious when you try to cut back
- Playing to escape stress rather than for the game itself
- Increasing your stake specifically to win back a loss
A short self-check
None of these questions diagnoses anything on their own – they're a prompt to be honest with yourself, not a test with a pass mark.
- Have you lied to anyone about how much time or money you spend playing?
- Have you gambled to escape a problem, or to relieve feelings of guilt or anxiety?
- Have you tried to win back losses with a bigger bet?
- Has your play affected your work, studies, or a relationship?
- Have you needed to borrow money or sell something to fund play?
- Do you feel restless or irritable when trying to cut down?
Answering yes to more than one or two is worth taking seriously, and the resources further down this page are free and confidential.
Limits you can set with us
If you'd rather stop for a defined period, our self-exclusion can be requested through live chat or a personal account manager and runs for 30 days from the date it's applied. During that window your account stays blocked; there's no early opt-back-in.
We do not currently publish separate deposit, loss or session-time caps as adjustable account settings – if a hard stop is what you need right now, self-exclusion or one of the national tools below covers that gap more reliably than any single site's own controls.
Blocking software
Software installed on your own device works even if you open a different site under a different name later. Gamban (gamban.com) blocks gambling sites and apps across most platforms; BetBlocker (betblocker.org) does the same thing free of charge and doesn't need a subscription to keep running.
National help lines
These organisations are independent of any operator, including us, and none of them will ask you to prove you've lost money before they'll talk to you.
- GamCare – National Gambling Helpline, 0808 8020 133, free and open 24/7
- BeGambleAware – information and free confidential support
- GamStop – free self-exclusion covering all UK-licensed gambling sites at once
- Gordon Moody – residential and online treatment for more serious gambling harm
Talking to someone
A phone call to GamCare's helpline or a message through BeGambleAware costs nothing, is confidential, and doesn't require you to have already decided what you want to happen next. If you'd rather talk to us directly about your own account, our support team is reachable through [email protected].
Protecting minors
This site and its content are restricted to people aged 18+. If you share a device with someone under that age, parental-control software such as Net Nanny or Qustodio can block gambling content at the device level rather than relying on account settings alone.
Gambling should be entertainment, not a chore.
Access to this site is restricted to persons aged 18 and over (18+). If gambling has stopped feeling like entertainment, free and confidential support is available at BeGambleAware.org.
