Privacy policy for the Fruitychance information site
Start playingThis notice covers fruity-chance.org.uk — the independent information site you're reading now, not the Fruitychance casino itself. If you want the operator's own player terms, those live on the operator's own domain; here we set out what happens to your data when you visit Fruitychance and get in touch with our editorial team.
The short version
We collect basic technical data automatically when you browse, and personal details only if you email us. We don't sell data to anyone, and we don't hold player accounts, deposits or gambling history — that information sits with the operator, not with us.
Data you hand over vs data we observe
Two categories exist here, and they're handled differently.
- Data you give us directly — your name and email address, if you write to [email protected] with a question or a complaint about our content.
- Data we observe automatically — your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and referring site, collected through standard server logs and any cookies you've consented to (see our separate cookie policy).
We use this to answer enquiries, keep the site secure, and understand which pages are read and which are not. None of it is used to profile you for advertising beyond what's disclosed in the cookie policy.
Processors and transfers
We rely on a small number of third parties to run the site — a hosting provider, and an analytics service where you've consented to it. These processors handle data on our instruction only; they don't acquire rights to use it for their own purposes. Where a processor is based outside the UK, transfers are made under the safeguards UK data protection law requires.
Exercising your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, or object to processing. Where we rely on your consent — cookies, for example — you can withdraw it at any time through your browser settings.
To use any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We reply within 48 hours. If you're not satisfied with our response, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) is the supervisory authority for the UK — ico.org.uk.
Retention
Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and diagnostic purposes. Correspondence sent to our support inbox is kept for as long as it's relevant to the enquiry, then deleted. We don't keep data indefinitely on the basis that it might become useful later.
Protecting minors
This site is restricted to visitors aged 18 and over (18+). We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under that age, and gambling content of any kind is not intended for minors. If you believe a child has contacted us or supplied information, tell us at [email protected] and we'll remove it.
Changes to this notice
We update this page when our data practices change or the law requires it. The version live on the site is always the current one; we don't maintain a change log of earlier drafts.

Gambling should stay a matter of choice, not pressure. If you'd like free, confidential support around your own play, BeGambleAware.org can help, and access to this site remains restricted to those aged 18 and over (18+).
